The first set of 12m antenna was successfully installed at RADI’s Miyun Ground Station on July 25. As a part of the data receiving system supported by the CAS Strategic Priority Program on Space Science, the installation marks an important progress of this project.

The antenna installation, containing the inclination axis, azimuth axis, pitch axis, balance weights at the both sides, gallows, primary reflector, support truss and secondary reflector, plays an important role in the satellite ground system projects. Prior to site installation, the engineers of RADI have spent days for the on-site conditioning and surface protection. The on-site installation lasted 7 hours, starting at 8:30 a.m. on July 25 and ended at 15:30 p.m. the same day.
