CAS Vice President Prof. YIN Hejun inspected RADI on May 13. He spoke highly of RADI achievements in terms of research outputs, development strategy and planning, research platform construction, international exchanges and cooperation and human resources development.

Prof. Yin visited various departments of RADI, ranging from the demonstration hall of the applied technology center for high-resolution Earth observation, work site of applied system development for high-resolution Earth observation, aerospace remote sensing demonstration center, and the report system of Global CropWatch Bulletin. He also listened to reports on RADI’s national research projects, strategic priority projects of CAS and its implementation of the “135” Planning. He called on RADI researchers to make even greater contributions to China’s socioeconomic progress and national safety.
