According to a recent review report released by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), 48 programs of RADI are financially supported by NSFC in 2017, accounting for nearly 29% of all the programs of RADI.
The NSFC funded programs include one program of the scientific fund for excellent young scientists,two key programs, 16 general programs, 26 programs of the scientific fund for young scholars, and three programs for international cooperation and exchanges, with a research grant up to 23,776 million yuan.
Prof. GAO Lianru from RADI is the recipient of this year’s NSFC fund for excellent young scientists. He has long been engaged in hyper-spectral image analysis and research, and has published 115 papers, among which 47 are SCI-included, and 42 EI-included. He is also a core member of the award winning team of the Outstanding Achievement Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2016.
